Track Trap Empty
PostSubject: Track Trap   Track Trap EmptySat May 12, 2012 2:46 pm

Around every retreat or semi-permanent base area, recon patrols should identify areas which frequently reveal tracks. Such areas include tight passes, swamp areas and frequently muddy places. There are two types of track traps:
-permanent
-temporary caused by weather.

Whenever possible, track traps should be flanked by man traps which will leave blood spoor if triggered.

Recon patrols should use various avenues of approach to visit trap track, man trap and booby trap areas to check on traffic and triggering signs, When mines are captured they should be seeded in a variety of spots until there is a security matrix, including all of the above supplemented by temporary OP/LPs, ambush sites and sensor zones.
