PostSubject: Hello from Texas   Mon Nov 12, 2012 8:42 am

My name is George. I moved to Conroe Tx with my Fiance a couple of months ago. We have both become increasingly concerned with the sociopolitical environment over the past few years. We had hopes that the past 4 years of turmoil would result in a movement by the majority of the population to restore some dignity to our government, but recent election results show that this did not happen either through a lack of effort on the part of the voters or (more than likely) a controlled election dictated by those in key positions.

Knowing that the likelihood of anyone successfully holding the government accountable from within is in my opinion a nice hope, but little more. The Government has long since forgotten that it is an employee of the citizens and feels that the working class is nothing more than slave labor.

My goal in joining this board is to become informed on:
1) ways I can promote my family's prosperity
2) ways my family and I can promote the prosperity of others
3) ways to ensure the continued prosperity for which we work and continue to work.

Personally, I am interested in local militia groups for the purpose of improving my skill-set in survival, medical, firearms techniques, tactical training, crisis management and meaningful community assistance.
