| I HAD SOME OTHER IDEAS FOR LONG TERM FOOD STORAGE, I WENT TO A COMPANY THAT I FOUND THAT MAKES LIKE SOME SORT OF CHICKEN BROTH OR SOMETHING, BUT IT IS A FOOD COMPANY AND THEY HAVE THESE FOOD GRADE 7 GAL. BUCKETS THAT THEY WILL GIVE AWAY, APPARENTLY THE BROTH THEY USE COME IN THE BUCKETS, SO IF YOU LOOK AROUND ON THE INTERNET FOR A COMPANY THAT DEALS WITH THE FOOD INDUSTRY AND POSSIBLY FIND ONE IN YOUR AREA IT MIGHT BE WORTH CHECKING INTO, I USE TO GO TO LIKE ARBY'S AND MC DONALDS AND GET THEIR OLD PICKLE BUCKETS. YOU JUST HAVE TO RINSE THEM OUT WITH BLEACH TO KILL THE SMELL. FOR YOUR LIDS I BOUGHT THE GAMA LIDS OFF OF FRECKLE FACE THEY ARE ABOUT THE CHEAPEST AROUND AND THE LIDS WORK GREAT. I HAVE ALSO LEARNED TO CAN BACON {YES BACON} AND ALSO DEER MEAT. GO TO AND LOOK UP CANNING BACON, ITS REALLY SIMPLE.
